In-store we stock hundreds of useful haberdashery items, but here are some of our most popular products for quilters.
The Quilters 1/4in tape can be used for hand quilting straight lines without having to mark the quilt. It’s also useful for marking quilting rulers to speed up cutting.
The wadding tape ensures you can easily join all your offcuts of wadding, so nothing is wasted. Simply place 2 pieces of the same type of wadding side by side and iron the tape over the join. When sewing, you can’t feel the presence of any tape, so it’s perfect when hand quilting as it doesn’t impede the quilting needle.
Quilters clips have many uses - Marion’s uses them all the time for for quilt binding, sewing Kawandi and creating fabric bowls.
Our mini steam iron from Sew Easy is a great tool if you’re short of space and want to set up a small ironing station next to your sewing machine for speedy patchwork. And it makes a great gift for a crafter. (Tip - just use a folded up towel and piece of calico for a soft iron surface - and to protect your table…).
