Double the gauze = treble the pleasure! Double Gauze is a light weight (126 gsm) pure cotton fabric. Relatively loosely woven, featuring a slight natural texture, it’s a breathable fabric with a soft handle and ideal for summer clothing.

It can be used for dressmaking (lovely for tiered dresses, scarves, light weight tops, oh-so comfy summer wide leg trousers, beach cover ups) and of course for baby muslins and for lightweight baby quilts. We’ve several patterns instore suitable for using double gauze. My simple gauze shift dress is my go-to on summer days!

Our double gauze is priced and sold by the quarter metre (the equivalent price is £10.00/m). To purchase 1 metre, simply add a quantity of 4 to your basket; for 1.5 metres, add 6; 3 metres, add 12 and so on.
